Seeking ​a Light-Duty Automotive Technician

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform lube, oil and filter change
  • Perform vehicle inspections
  • Ability to mount, balance and repair tires
  • Perform brake service/repairs
  • Perform bulb replacement
  • Perform general maintenance repairs-hoses, belts, batteries, etc.
  • Maintain clean work space to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety
  • Clean/Sweep shop/Empty trash as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be able to lift 80 lbs.
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Able to work Monday-Friday 7:30 am-5:00 pm
  • Three years previous experience as an automotive lube/tire technician or mechanic
  • Must have own tools
  • Responsible/Dependable/Punctual for work
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Self-motivated and self-driven
  • Maintain a good, positive attitude
  • Ability to work well as a team and individually
  • Able to communicate effectively
  • Maintain a neat, professional appearance
  • ASE certification or willing to study, take and pass ASE certification tests
  • Must be willing and able to pass a drug test
  • Knowledge of tire mount and balance equipment and TPMS tools
  • Maintain working knowledge of current industry best practices in automotive repair by attending seminars and training classes
  • Knowledge of computers and ipads

Pay:
Guaranteed hourly pay for a minim of 42.5 hours a week plus commission. Pay based on experience.
